Privacy policy

Last updated: October 9, 2026

hue.so is a web app that generates and, on paid plans, schedules social posts for small businesses. This page describes the data the product handles.

Account data

When you sign up, hue.so stores your name, email address, and a hashed password, or the profile returned by Google if you use that sign-in option. Session cookies keep you logged in.

Brand and content data

Brand profiles, generated posts, captions, and calendar items are stored so you can edit and reuse them. They are visible to the account that created them.

Homepage previews and photos

The brief you submit and text read from a website you supply are sent to OpenAI to create a campaign preview. Before signup, Hue stores the brief and result with private browser cookies and keyed hashes of browser and network identifiers to enforce preview limits. Previews expire after 48 hours; expired records are removed during later preview submissions.

An optional homepage photo is prepared and kept in your browser for up to 48 hours. It is sent to Hue only when you choose to save the campaign after signing in, and is then stored with your draft. Homepage photos are not sent to OpenAI or used to infer business facts.

Billing

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. hue.so stores your plan and subscription status. Card numbers are handled by Stripe, not stored in the hue.so database.

Connected social accounts

On Starter and above, connecting a social account is done through Zernio so posts can be scheduled. Access is limited to publishing the posts you choose to schedule in hue.so.

Requests

Hue does not currently provide an in-product way to submit access, correction, or deletion requests. Help states that limit. It is not a request form.

What we do not sell

hue.so does not sell personal information. Data is used to run the product, generate content you request, and process payments.
